Run Red

This time,
         it’ll last.
               These thoughts,
                                  will pass.
                                           My heart, 
                                                    won’t ache.
                                                               My body,
                                                                       won’t shake.
                                                                                 The rivers,
                                                                 with empty beds.
                                                         My veins,
                                              bleed red.
                                       My life,
                            in tatters.
                    Nothing,
             matters.
